A New Season

How's this new Fall season feel, bloggers? I don't miss summer one bit, except it keeps coming back for revenge. Yesterday was way too hot for September.

Here at the CDub we're going through a season change too. Our old manager Jenna has left us to move back home to Missouri. Jenna was a great woman and she did a lot for our store. We're all very happy for her, but that doesn't mean we won't miss her bunches. We'll miss your constant Greatful Dead/Widespread Panic, your layers gum, too much redbull, your grandma knee's, your use of the steamer, how you WARSH clothes, your cute doggies, your flawless hair, your horrible taste in cheetah shoes, and most of all - your stage dive (or fall, I should say.) Your water bottle will always live in the fridge. We love you, Jenna!

Our new manager is a former salesperson here at the store, Jamy. He is very excited to be in his new position, and we all can't wait to see what new twist he's going to bring to our store! So be sure to congratulate Jamy next time you drop in.

That being said, we've been rearranging the store a lot. We'll also be doing some little tweaks to the basic look of the store. It's a good thing if you come in and don't recognize the store, right?
If you'd like to make any suggestions, hit up our formspring here:

That's it for now, bloggers. Enjoy this sweater weather!

Artist Cory E. Wilson

I just got word that Cory E. Wilson is doing an Opening and Reception for his art September 26th.
It's some pretty sick stuff, and it's definitely worth a trip down there to see.
The pieces I've seen are completely mind blowing original,
i can guarantee it's unlike anything you've ever seen.
Not only is his art killer and a half, but
I met im today and he is a genuinely super chill guy.
Which that really makes easy for me to promote him and get the word out,
trust me if he was an untalented jerk i would not take the time to write this.
So for real check him out Sunday September 26th 7 p.m. at Bang! Salon 1 wade Hampton Blvd Greenville S.C.
Also local band The Van Dangs will be performing live!
I'll be there for sure!

i'm Falling for fall.

Fall is creepin in and i can't be happier!
Those nice breezy days, and borderline cold nights are perfect sweater weather.
So since it's sweater weather we have the gift of sweaters!
We got sweatshirts, nightmare on elm street striped sweaters, and my personal favorite Mr. Rogers old man cardigans. We even have some Lacoste cardigans in the style of Chubs from Happy Gilmore.
So come checkout the selection and suit up for FALLLLL!

Chubs in that good lookin Lacoste sweater

On a second note of mindless rambling on, everyone has things that annoy the crap out of them... I'm no exception. So with a chance to vent, here are some things that really annoy me.

-People who only know one modest mouse song (Float on)
-People who look amazing in our dresses but choose not to buy because they are afraid of what their friends might think. Do what you like! be yourself!
-When my arm or foot falls asleep.
-that tickle of about to sneeze and then no sneeze comes :(
-having itches when you have a cast on your arm.
-People who say "All of a Sudden", what does that even mean..think about it, then try to describe it. Makes no sense.
-Folding up road maps. Frustrating.
-When people switch lanes in front of you without signaling.
-From First to Last without Sonny Moore.
-The new animated ninja turtles show, the new CGI tmnt movie.
-Robot Chicken. period.
-CSI and law and order and every spin off they think up, next they are gonna have CSI Nursing Home: Natural Causes Investigated, and Law and Order FPVU food poisoning victims unit.
-How tiger woods is terrible this season but he still made it in the ryder cup, and no matter how bad he does he is still the talk of the Tournament's he's in.
Same thing with Tim Tebow and Florida. Tebow is gone but the anouncers still talk about Tebow every five seconds.
-Tim Tebow. haha When he cried after losing to Alabama it was pathetic. No babies in the NFL please.

That's all for now and hey! that made me feel alot better! Get your annoyances off your chest, it does wonders.

Helloooo September!

Doesn't this Fall weather feel wonderful, Bloggers? It's so nice to be able to go outside without your face melting off.
If you haven't noticed, it's also football season. Our dear Cassidy is trying to keep us updated with the latest info on football, but if you're like me it just flies right over your head. Who cares about some pigskin getting tossed around when there's clothes to be bought, and outfits to be generated? But I digress.

This month's sales are:
Polo's are Buy One Get One free.
Men's and Women's Short sleeve shirts are 20% off!

Now, let's get specific here before you get too excited. By short sleeve shirts we mean NOT T-shirts. Mostly these are spiffy dress shits, button ups, and collared shirts. But that's more complicated then saying "short sleeve shirts." So we apologize in advance for any confusion.

One more thing: We've gotten a lot of new stuff in in the past couple of weeks that we've been too busy to update. Fancy dresses, sweaters, sweatshirts, skirts and more fall/wintery items. We also are trying out selling some vintage tennis shoes. We've got vintage slip-on van's and converses from the 80's.

Well, I think that's all for now. Come in soon because we've restarted our bloggers 15% off discount for ya and our new items won't last long.

Stephen Garcia Has Arrived.

In the season opener against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, Steve Spurrier's gamecocks were anything but "disappointing". In Fact the black and garnet drove to a 41 to 13 victory over the eagles. But what was even more satisfying to the gamecock nation than the victory, was the premiere of freshmen Marcus Lattimore (running back from byrnes high) and the arrival of Stephen Garcia. Garcia played the quarter back position with style, skill and expert decision making. So to all who said Spurrier is washed up and Garcia is less than talented think again...

One team down, now on to Georgia!

-Stephen Garcia # 5!-

much love,
-Cassidy
