IHeartCollegeFootBall!

Thursday night college football season officially begins! Now as for me I'm an all out Gamecock fanatic, but being this close to Clemson, we have alot of customers who's blood runs orange. So in the name of state pride and for the love of the game I'm going to post my "realistic" and "unbiased" record predictions for the season.

America's Team (South Carolina Gamecocks)
i predict they go (optimistically): 10 wins and 2 losses play in SEC title.
i predict they go (realistically, most likely): 9 wins and 3 losses play in east division title.
i predict they go (pessimistically) 7 wins and 5 losses.

Clemson Tigers
i predict they go (optimistically): 9 wins and 3 losses play in ACC title.
i predict they go (realistically, most likely): 8wins and 4 losses play in coastal division title.
i predict they go (pessimistically) 5 wins and 7 losses.

There's my predictions,
What's yours?
Also keep looking for new sales, new shipments, and awesome blogs!

On My Mind.

So there's some things on my mind and what better place to spill than here.
First off I'm super happy that the "heat wave" seems to be coming to an end.
Sweating your face off is not very fun, and the cooler weather means i get to start wearing sweaters and hoodies, which are my favorite. I for one welcome Fall and Winter with open embracing arms, and to Summer i say,"Good riddance!".
One reason i love Fall is because it really makes movie watching more fun. I love movies with a passion, deep plots, intense characters, ridiculous situations, and cheesy perverted jokes. Summer seems to suck the life out of me, and i watch less movies and do more complaining.
So in the name of Movie weather I'm going to post my top 10 favorite films!

Top Ten favorite films:
1. Donnie Darko
2. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
3. Blow.
4. A Clockwork Orange.
5. Wicker Park
6. The Science of sleep.
7. Dan in Real life.
8. Hard Candy.
9. The jerk.
10. Never ending story.

There you have it!
Cassidy Ramey's top ten favorite movies of all time!
Comment and post your top ten, ill be happy to read it!

Keep shoppin here, and keep lovin vintage!

The Last Day of Summer

Dear Bloggers,
It is my unfortunate duty to inform you (if you didn't already know) that today is the last day of summer. Greenville County Schools start back tomorrow, as do a few local colleges. How this day came so quickly upon us, I do not know. But I promise to you few that have to suffer along with me that there is one thing to look forward to: SWEATERS! And hoodies, and jackets, and puffer vests, and such!
It (hopefully) won't be long until the days start getting cooler. So we're currently putting out our back stock of coats to satisfy such needs.
We've put out Member's Only coats, sweaters, cardigans, track jackets, blazers, leather coats, and blazers for you back to school shoppers.

Also, we have new shirts! We're the exclusive downtown seller of the Greenville - Grow Your Own Roots shirts, made by Kate Barton.
Here's what the logo looks like:

They're printed on soft vintage wash Alternative Apparel shirts, and come in women's sizes Small through XLarge. If we have a big response/requests for the shirts in Men's sizes we might oblige! Come in and try one on, they're a great way to rep GVille and support Local Art.
Here's a link to more info on these sweet shirts: http://www.kathryndalebarton.com/wp/grow-your-own-roots/

That's all for now, Bloggers. Come in to see us soon!

Augustus!

Bloggers! This is the time you've been waiting your whoooole life for.
August Sale!
All our clothes are 20% off! YES! Every single dress, western, vest, jacket, t-shirt and any other article of clothing is 20% off!
So come in soon and get your pick of your best back to school outfit (or if you're too cool for school, your new Fall clothes).

Also, we have about 200 new T-shirts coming in this week. So prepare yourself for that. We're putting out a bunch of track jackets, leather jackets and other type coats for the colder weather coming soon. We're also stocking up on new sunglasses, jewelry, dresses and hats.

Other things: Music. We're like family at the CDub and get along very well, but the one thing we all always fight over is the music. We each have our favorite bands and genres of music, which makes a nice mix, but also alot of squabbling over the store iPod. We've recently been running a lot of new and different albums. I've been listening WNCW a lot, and getting some good music off there. One album I heard on there was the new Broken Bells. It's a pretty cool mash up between Danger Mouse and James Mercer (lead vocal for the Shins). It's pretty good store music. I've also been playing tons Tunng, Tegan & Sara's newest album, Ryan Adams, Band of Horses, Digitalism, Sabrepulse, Steve Ray Vaughn, Of Montreal, and other random-ness. Cass has been hitting up a lot of bands he heard at this year's Warped Tour, whether or not the rest of us like listening to whatever he's playing. Bahaha.
If you'd like to suggest some music just do so on our formspring. Here's a handy dandy box, you can just type in:

Don't mind the "question" part. Just give us some feedback!

Well that's all for rambling. Come in to see us soon!
